Our readers have tagged nearly 20,000 posts with our Instagram hashtag #thespacesilike. This week you’ve taken us around Santiago Calatrava’s startling Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía opera house in Valencia, and inside the cosy lounge of Austin’s Native Hotel.

Each Saturday we’ll feature your most striking photographs on The Spaces. Keep tagging them with #thespacesilike for a chance to be featured.

Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía, Valencia, Spain

Swan Lake. Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía in Valencia, Spain. Design by Santiago Calatrava, built 1996-2005. I think everyone knows this building – but do you also know the interior of this monumental opera house? During the last week, I had the opportunity to take pictures inside this building. I’ll start posting them this coming weekend – stay tuned! _______________________________________________ #art_chitecture_ #arkiminimal #minimal_lookup #skyscraping_architecture #architecture_minimal #creative_architecture #lookingup_architecture #architecture #архитектура #archdaily #archilovers #passionpassport #buildingporn #bbctravel #thespacesilike #likesmagazine #hotshotz_architecture #neverstopexploring #ig_worldclub #1_unlimited #unlimitedcities #minimal #minimalism #huffpostgram #learnminimalism #minimalmood #excellent_structure #designboom #abstractmybuilding #valencia

Native Hostel Austin, Texas, USA

Quick hiatus last week to become a dad! (Check my story for a peek) • But we're back to it! The lobby of @nativehostels exposes the original building with accents of cozy seating areas. || #interiors

Post office building, Vienna, Austria

Always beautiful to revisit such an icon: Post office, built by Otto Wagner between 1904 and 1912. #moderndesign #modernistdesign #vienna #viennamodernism #artnouveau #viennasecession #ottowagner #architecturehunting #thespacesilike
