Property of the week: a forest hideaway near the Swedish coast

Owners of this villa in Sweden’s scenic Mölle can enjoy views of the surrounding woods from each of its light-filled rooms.

Set between the coast and a nature reserve, the three-bedroom Swedish property – for sale via Per Janssen for 8m SEK – offers the best of both worlds.

The Swedish property was built in 1971, and renovated in 2006 by architect Jan Engvall. Its kitchen and living room have floor-to-ceiling windows that look onto the surrounding trees – and open onto a private terrace with a brick barbecue for outdoor dining.

Inside the Mölle villa, the natural theme continues with wood panelled rooms and exposed floorboards. The master bedroom has direct access to the woods while the second bedrooms opens onto the garden, so visiting guests don’t feel left out.

Mölle, which is located on the Kulla peninsula in the south of Sweden, was historically a fishing village and is home to just 715 people. It has several rocky beaches and a harbour, and the property is just a stone’s throw from the beach.
