This glass and steel house blends into its remote rocky surrounds, thanks to a 30-metre long reflective exterior.
The property’s located two hours outside of Los Angeles, close to downtown Joshua Tree. Architect Tomas Osinsk designed the home, working together with American Psycho producer Chris Hanley – who now lets the house out for film and photo shoots as well as events. It reportedly costs $1k an hour.
The centrepiece of the home is its long indoor swimming pool, located next to a sliding wall that opens up onto the 90 acres of private land surrounding the house. Other features include concrete floors, sleek white kitchen fittings, and a mirrored bath that’s reminiscent of the home’s angular architecture.
At night time, Invisible House takes on a new dimension as the pool’s neon lights are turned on.
