The clean lines of this contemporary Sicilian villa are a counterpoint to the rugged terrain in which it sits.
Designed by French-Lebanese architect Fabrice Bejjani, Adesso is a single level minimalist structure. It sits atop a hillside overlooking the 17th-century town of Noto, and beyond to the Tyrrhenian Sea.
Adesso is available exclusively through The Thinking Traveller, with weekly prices starting from £5,476 per week, and it sleeps eight in four bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom and private access to the garden.
The contemporary holiday home unfurls through three distinct communal sections, ending in a bright kitchen and living space that looks out onto the pool terrace. Clean lines and minimalist furniture create a sense of calm within, while large walls of glass blur the lines between the interior and the garden beyond.
Adesso’s fragrant wraparound garden is dotted with carob trees, olive groves, al fresco dining areas and an outdoor kitchen. Star of the show is an infinity pool which juts out towards the sea.
Situated in the southeast corner of Sicily near Syracuse, Adesso is surrounded by historic towns and ancient archeological sites ripe for exploration. Or alternatively just stay by the pool and enjoy the sunset.
