Devoted minimalists designed this sculptural Lisbon apartment

It’s currently on the market for €720,000

Lisbon architects AB+AC have reimagined urban living as a work of sculpture at this location in the city’s up-and-coming Anjos district. Called Aether, the two-bedroom, two-bath residence spans 100 sqm with a 15 sqm patio, and is currently under full renovation. Due for completion in March 2026, it is offered by Fantastic Frank Lisbon for €720,000.

The project blurs the lines between furniture and architecture. Custom elements are integrated into the structure; tiled planes introduce rhythm and colour and reflective finishes shift with the light. Ceilings rise unexpectedly, thresholds create a sense of theatre and daylight is treated as a material in its own right.

The bedrooms respond to this language with contrasts of intimacy and openness, while bathrooms use saturated yellow tiling for a playful yet refined statement. A flexible second room adapts as a guest bedroom, office or library.

Aether’s private balcony and patio extend living outdoors, while its Anjos position situates it within one of Lisbon’s most creative quarters, alive with cafés, studios and dining. The home balances spatial invention with the historic energy of its neighbourhood — a considered architectural retreat within the city.
