Studio David Thulstrup designed this cosy but minimalist Copenhagen loft, which doubles as a retail concept space for Danish brand Vipp.
The two-bedroom bolthole sits above the Vipp offices, inside a former printing factory dating back to 1910, in the Islands Brygge harbourfront. Thulstrup’s minimalist interiors make the most of the attic space’s high-sloping ceilings but it feels cosy despite its grand proportions.

Pale Douglas Pine trusses and wooden floorboards cross the Danish holiday home, available to rent from €1,000 per night. Furniture and objects include designs by Vipp, as well as vintage pieces that inject a burst of colour into the otherwise white space.

Skylight windows offer a glimpse of the surrounding roofscape, and there’s a fireplace and well-stocked library if you fancy a quiet night in. The more adventurous can make a 10-minute trip to the centre of the city, where Copenhagen’s more bustling nightlife can be found…
