The Domes resort group has stayed relevant rolling out quietly luxurious Greek retreats with top-end food and social opportunity. With its newest opening, on the heavily visited island of Santorini, it is trying something new. Set back from the sea in the village of Finikia, Neema Maison takes over a cluster of refurbished homes tucked away from the crowds and the scene.

Part of a new sub-brand called Domes Finds, designed for properties with a more authentic, sophisticated sensibility, the boutique hotel emphasises privacy, local character and the vernacular island architecture visitors come for. Together the structures form a sort of village within the village, incorporating 16 adults-only suites of different configurations, depending on the original flow of space. They share common threads — whitewashed walls, vibrant pops of red and blue, views out to sea, private terraces skewed toward the pool terrace. Yet each has an individual personality, and meandering between them feels like a local adventure — particularly as they share a taverna, Antonino’s, that riffs on Italian recipes with local produce and seafood (the wine list skews Greek as well).
From the rooftop terrace you can watch the sun rise and set, and see all the way to the neighbouring islands of Folegandros, Chora and Sikinos. It’ll make you feel as if you’re on one of those more remote islands, and not one of the busiest crossroads in the Aegean Sea.
The hotel closes for the season on 11 October, reopening again in spring 2026.
