Bohemian Art Nouveau imbues this expansive Czech villa just outside Prague in the town of Dobrichovice.

Located along the Berounka River, just 23 km southwest of central Prague, Dobrichovice is a popular with those wishing for proximity to the city and its urban amenities, while also seeking out nature. The pretty town is surrounded by forest and striking landscapes, and like Prague, it has a cache of Art Nouveau architecture dating from the late 19th and early 20th century – the peak of the Art Nouveau movement.

This Czech property dates from around that time and has been fully restored, with living space across three floors plus a cellar. The first floor features a grand entrance hallway and sweeping staircase. Rooms have parquet flooring, plaster mouldings and arched doorways inlaid with decorative motifs.

The updated kitchen connects to a dining area, while the main living area opens to a conservatory with a jacuzzi.

The second floor contains five rooms, including the primary bedroom with a terrace, while the third floor is a self-contained apartment with a kitchenette and bathroom.

Sotheby’s International Realty Czech Republic is listing the Czech property for 39.9m Kč CZK (around €1.6m). It’s enveloped in greenery, with landscaped gardens and an abundance of mature trees. Take a tour in the gallery.
