This house in Belsize Park, north London, comes with not one but two starry architects’ names attached.
Originally designed in 1970 by architect John Winter, the property was upgraded and extended by Adjaye Associates in 2002.
The property’s exterior retains its original striking linear look, with huge picture windows and a façade clad in white ceramic mosaic tiles.

To the side of the house is the Adjaye-designed wedge-shaped kitchen extension that has a wide glass door which slides directly into the wall. It provides access to the lawn garden, featuring a full-length deck.
The second-floor living room – which has tall ceilings and a wood burning stove – peeks out over garden below. One bedroom completes this floor, with three further bedrooms (two of which have balconies) on the floor above.
Across the property there is streamline, bespoke wooden cabinetry.
