Guests at this Texas cabin will need a head for heights: the Yoki Treehouse is suspended between two cypress trees, 25 ft above a creek.
The treehouse – which is available to rent from $600 per night – was designed by ArtisTree founder Will Beilharz in Austin’s Cypress Valley. It comprises a midcentury style cabin and a separate bathhouse which is reached via a 60-ft-long bridge.
Beilharz built the treehouse using sustainable woods and reclaimed materials, and although it might look a little rough and ready from the outside, there’s lavish attention to details across its timber interiors.
Views across the nearby ravine can be enjoyed from Yoki’s observation decks, as well as from the soaking tub which is surrounded by tall windows.
