Award-winning architecture firm UHA London crafted this sleek West London home to bring a dose of refined Scandinavian minimalism to the heart of Barnes Village.
The four-to-five-bedroom property underwent a £1.2m renovation under its current owners which put the rear garden as the focal point. The open-plan living room, dining room and kitchen flow straight onto the outdoor terrace and landscaped gardens through floor-to-ceiling Crittal framed glass doors, exaggerating the sense of depth and height across the level.
White engineered oak floors unify the space, as does a muted, airy and light colour palette complemented by natural stones and bespoke joinery.
Meanwhile, the all-new kitchen is anchored by a monumental black stone island and is designed for entertaining guests. Bespoke units and integrated Gaggenau appliances are on offer, including a full height fridge and freezer, double dishwasher and a separate pantry and utilities room.
UHA designed the wooden staircase connecting to the first floor where there’s the primary bedroom with en suite. Next door is an additional guest suite with storage, while two more bedrooms and a bathroom are on the top floor.
Wilfords is selling the Barnes property for between £4m-£4.25m. Westmoreland Road is at the heart of Barnes village, with shops, restaurants, bars and the commons (with its pretty duck pond) a short walk away.
