They say don’t judge a book by its cover and the same goes for this houseboat in Seattle…
Brighton Sunshine – moored at 1080 W Ewing Place A6 – is a two-bedroom floating ‘cottage’ that was built in 1985. Located minutes from Downtown, it is on the market via Metropolist for $375,000 and comes wrapped in 376 ft of deck. But it’s inside where things take a lofty turn.
Only 510 sq ft in size, the houseboat has soaring ceilings, cork floors and white walls that lend it a Scandi-Japanese vibe, amplifying the feeling of space. Every inch of space has been rung out via clever features such as built-in storage and even a retractable bed which can be lowered from the ceiling.
