Instagram has brought its rainbow gradient to life with a technicolour glass pavilion on the Cannes seafront.
Latvian designer Germans Ermičs designed the 50 sqm structure, which is wrapped in rainbow-tinted mirrors. He’s no stranger to the power of a good gradient, having already designed several pieces of ombré furniture, but this is his largest work to date.
The pavilion, dubbed Where The Rainbow Ends, offers a place of respite for those visiting the town for the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, and it also marks Pride Month and the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots.
Visitors can step inside to enjoy a rainbow light installation which plays across its all-white interior.
