A fixture and figurehead of America’s music scene, Nesuhi Ertegun built up the jazz roster for Atlantic Records, the label he oversaw with his brother Ahmet. And on weekends he’d retreat to this Westchester, NY, villa on four acres overlooking the Cross River Reservoir. Stark white, with Bauhaus elements, the home overlooks forested countryside from terraces, bow windows and long deck the infinity pool. And it’s currently listed with Douglas Elliman for $3.5 million.

Inside the 3,740 sqft property sun streams in from wide banks of windows and an expansive skylit entry hall. The watery panorama comes into view in the dining area and sunken living room, separated by a half-wall. A broad terrace with chrome railings sits beyond the glass French doors. A primary bedroom suite upstairs has a similar terrace with views over forest and water. There are four bedrooms overall, plus three full bathrooms, one powder room and a Bocci court below the pool.
