The King of Pop’s suitably named Thriller Villa in Las Vegas has gone on sale.
On the market to the tune of $9.5 million, the Spanish Mediterranean-style property on Palomino Lane was one of Michael Jackson’s main residences prior to his death in 2009.
Interior designer Paulina Biggs Sparkuhl, founder of studio Chez Paulina, gave the home a refresh when its current owner bought the property.
The stuccoed house has seven bedrooms as well as a salon – said to be Jackson’s favourite room – featuring a stone fireplace, wooden beams and a Murano glass chandelier. It also comes with an 8,500 sq ft basement private gallery space.
Elsewhere, the 1.7-acre complex has a 74-seat chapel whose ceiling depicts a hand-painted sky. The property also comes with a 2,983 sq ft guesthouse. Its expansive outdoor space features a cobblestone-paved driveway and a water fountain.
Thriller Villa is listed with Sotheby’s International Realty via Luxury Estate.
