The Louis Vuitton X pop-up has pitched up in Los Angeles. Part museum and part store, it’s showing rare pieces from the label’s archive alongside its latest shoppable artist collaborations.
Over 180 items taken from the label’s century and a half of history are on display, including perfume bottles and bespoke trunks, as well as window displays.
The pop-up has taken over Beverly Hills’ 468 North Rodeo Drive building – bought by LVMH’s Bernard Arnault in 2017 – which is now decked out in fluorescent pink and orange.
There are 10 rooms to visit across two floors, including a display of Louis Vuitton Monogram bags customised by artists and designers including Rei Kawakubo and Cindy Sherman. They were created for the label’s Artycapucines collection with each bag costs upwards of £6,000.
The exhibition runs until 15 September, after which it’ll tour the world.
