Fancy living in a penthouse in London’s most expensive neighbourhood for a year, completely rent-free? Here’s your chance.

Banking innovation lab Studio B is offering one young professional 12 months accommodation at its Kensington apartment in a competition celebrating its launch.

Studio B is the brainchild of Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank, and is dedicated to ‘solving the banking issues of tomorrow’ – including how first-time buyers can get onto the property ladder in the capital.

As well as free rent, Studio B will match every penny that the winner saves during their one-year stay at the Kensington Church Street apartment – up to a value of £24,000.

According to research by Zoopla, it will take the average young professional 59 years to save for a deposit in London, with high rent cited as the main barrier to saving.

Would-be residents just need to turn up on 27 April at Studio B’s Kensington High Street store, where tv presenters Amanda Lamb and Rick Edwards will grill them on their general knowledge, DIY, gardening and cooking skills.

The winner will move into their new digs on 27 May.
