Supper at home with friends. We were out all day (watching the annual Venice Regata) so dinner was super simple, a mix of cold bits and the kind of food you can make in advance: creamy vitello tonnato, sautéed green beans with baby tomatoes (served at room temperature), black rice and pistachio salad and blistered aubergines drenched in olive oil. For pudding: two big bowls of tiramisù. #atableinvenice
