De Jonghe Residence – embedded in a ridge in the Hollywood Hills – is a home with pedigree: it was built for an actor by the son of Frank Lloyd Wright.
The pavilion-like Los Angeles property was constructed in 1949 and is a confection of stone, concrete, glass and wood.

De Jonghe Residence on Crescent Drive has been revived and enhanced by John Powell, a specialist in restoring midcentury architecture, including homes by Richard Neutra and Paul László. Living areas inside the two-bedroom, 2,100-sq ft property open out onto decked terraces, making the most of the views across the city and ocean.
