Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy list their New York townhouse

A West Village townhouse belonging to actors Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy has hit the market with Corcoran in New York.

The 1880s Greek Revival-style house underwent extensive renovations more than a decade ago, bringing natural light to the repositioned kitchen. Joan Krevlin of BKSK Architects led the alterations, designing the main-floor foyer and study, a custom staircase, and reimagining bedrooms on the upper floors.

The Manhattan property has an ‘upside-down’ layout, with the kitchen on the top floor. Its glass-block ceiling doubles as a floor for the rooftop terrace, which enjoys views of downtown—great for entertaining. The four-bedroom home is priced at US9.75m.
