The former home of Breakfast at Tiffany star Audrey Hepburn has gone on sale in Los Angeles for $14m.

Architect Paul Williams designed the six-bedroom property in 1938. The actor shared the 1.1 acre estate with first husband Mel Ferrer, and other famous stars who’ve called it home through the decades include Mia Farrow and Frank Sinatra, Anita Louise and Hungarian actor Eva Gabor.

Now on the market via Jade Mills of Coldwell Banker, the 7,000 sq ft Holmby Hills abode comes with a guest house, swimming pool, tennis court, landscaped gardens and 1,000 sq ft housekeeper’s apartment.

While interiors of 100 Delfern Drive have changed considerably since Hepburn called it home, the centrepiece of the gated Los Angeles property is still its grand staircase, evoking 1950s Hollywood glamour.

It’s not the only Hepburn ‘property’ on the market either… Her personal belongings – on display at Christie’s auction house in London from 23 September – will go under the hammer on 27 September.
