Architect Robert Malinoff’s Hollywood home is for sale

This midcentury Los Angeles home comes with one heck of a view of the city’s most iconic landmark – the Hollywood sign.

The four-bedroom modernist home was designed in 1958 by architect Robert Malinoff for his family, while he was still a student at USC School of Architecture. Although he isn’t as famous as some of his peers, Malinoff’s take on post-and-beam design at 3378 Ledgewood Drive showcases the best of his talents.

HabHouse recently renovated the 2,377 sq ft modernist property – on the market via Unique California Property for $1.649m – reinstating lost period details and updating systems and amenities for a new century.

Red tiled floors, monochrome beams and brick fireplaces are exposed throughout while walls have a fresh lick of white paint, ready for the house’s new custodians – the third owner in its existence.
