Richard Neutra contemporary Harwell Hamilton Harris designed only two homes in Austin – and one of them just came on the market.
The Barrow Residence was built in 1955 by the architect near Mount Bonnell, who drew inspiration from the Japanese houses found in California where he grew up.
Inside, the three bedroom property’s post and beam structure has been left exposed. Floor-to-ceiling glazing wraps the communal living spaces, which feature walnut cabinets and oak and cork floors.
It’s being marketed exclusively via The Value of Architecture for $1.295m.
