Warsaw restaurant Epoka is a jewellery box of colours

Emerald, sapphire blue and ruby hues dominate the interiors of Warsaw restaurant Epoka, designed by stage designer Boris Kudlička.

The fine-dining spot sits inside the Europejski Hotel and was created in collaboration with Polish architecture practice WWAA, of which Kudlička is a partner.

Interiors are dominated by a vibrant colour palette, with rooms and areas of the Polish restaurant organized by shade. The more casual bar area is decked out with topaz coloured subway tiles, marble-topped tables and brass-accented gold seating.

Classic blue – Pantone’s colour of the year – makes an appearance in the dining room, where it’s splashed across walls and offset by blush and dark green velvet seating. Larger tables are situated in the private dining section, papered with tiger eye stone coloured wallpaper.

Chef Marcin Przybysz has created a menu of modern Polish cuisine, researched and reinterpreted from historic cookbooks and traditions.
