Is it art? Or is it architecture? That was the pervading question at the Venice Biennale’s opening last week, where the two have come together like never before. From the David Adjaye-designed Arena stage – which played host to a performance by jazz pianist Jason Moran – to the Swiss pavilion’s giant swimming pool conceived by Pamela Rosenkranz, this year’s offerings were unusually immersive. Here, we give you a video taster, set to a score by Moran himself (courtesy of The Vinyl Factory).
