An industrial playground on the outskirts of Lisbon is the stage for Portuguese group Cais Sodré Funk Connection’s boisterous ‘Offbeat’ music video.

A troupe of eccentric characters bring the abandoned steelworks to life, dancing around the building’s forgotten spaces that have been left untouched for about 25 years.

‘After visiting the location, I fell in love with the light, the textures and the desolate feeling it evokes,’ says director Richard F Coelho.
