In the centre of Campos, in southern Mallorca, Can Pedrera is a light-handed update of a traditional workplace. Built in 1914 by the Mas Julià family after their return from Cuba, it carries the imprint of early 20th-century Mallorca: high ceilings, Art Nouveau ironwork and a central patio that draws light deep into the interior. Over its life, the building has served as an almond-processing workshop, a carpentry studio and, later, a place for artistic work.

The house unfolds across three floors, with 384sqm of internal space and a leafy 230sqm garden. Original hydraulic tiles have been preserved and reused, joined by new tiles produced locally by Huguet to match the historic palette. Windows, doors and railings have been restored or custom made, while bathrooms and terraces have been carefully reworked. The ground floor retains the scale and openness of its former workshop, with direct access to the patio and garden, while the upper floors are defined by tall proportions, timber beams and views across the village rooftops.

Today, Can Pedrera offers three bedrooms and three bathrooms, with multiple terraces, a basement level and resident-only street parking. It is presented for sale with by Kalypsó Design Studio, whose architect-led approach frames the house as an opportunity for contemporary living rooted in Mallorcan history and craft. Price on application.
