It’s not exactly a bargain sale but the daughters of fashion heir Maurizio Gucci have dropped the price for their penthouse in New York’s Olympic Tower.
Alessandra and Allegra Gucci first listed the eight-bedroom property inside the Fifth Avenue skyscraper for $45 million last summer. They are now asking for $10 million less.
The penthouse, taking up the 50th and 51st floors, includes two master suites, one with its own Jacuzzi and the other with a sauna. It also has two internal elevators and two wood-burning fireplaces.
Built in 1976, Olympic Tower was designed by architects Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. The penthouse has been in the Gucci family since the building’s completion, when Maurizio Gucci bought the property.
