The veil was lifted in Milan for Gucci’s FW/20 show as spectators went ‘backstage’ at the Gucci Hub to see models getting ready in a dressing room stage.

Guests passed through hair and makeup to emerging inside the Gucci Hub space, where black curtains shaped an octagonal room, crowned by a halo of dazzling spotlights. A cylindrical-shaped platform, veiled in pink voile sat at the centre of the set, topped by a neon metronome marking time, with guests seated around rotating stage.

As a soundtrack of classical music played, the platform was illuminated to reveal models changing into looks – including 1970s-cut suits and 18th-century inspired dresses – before making their way to the front of the rotating glass tank to afford guests a better look at Alessandro Michele’s eclectic designs.
